Our baby girl continues to grow and thrive! In the past 24 hours, she has shifted considerably to the right side making me a lopsided, pregnant woman. I don't have a kidney on the right side, so I think she has found the area that gives her the most space to move around and kick, kick, kick.Doug was able to celebrate his first Father's (to be) Day by watching the US Open and enjoying a couple beers. Doug will be the most amazing father! Our little girl will fish and golf with him, learn her manners, play the guitar, laugh at his stupid jokes...she will be one lucky Baby Girl Whitfield.

PS. We have officially retired the name "Slash"....she is definitely a "SHE" and there is no need for the s/he title. Her name will remain a secret until birth, so please tell my mom to stop asking! haha....

so do you have the name picked out?! how exciting... i cannot wait to hear it. but i will have to be patient and wait til she comes. you are looking cuter by the week!! enjoy all the kicking, i do miss that part! :)
