In addition to our alive, black Meow Meow Cat, Sophie now has a stuffed, white Meow Meow Cat that she adores.
Photo #1: Please note that her pajamas are unbuttoned halfway down her chest, because she refused to let go of the cat long enough to let me change her clothes.

Photo #2: "Mom, do you mind? We're trying to play here."
Photo #3: After crawling backward up her little rocking chair and placing Meow Meow cat on our big chair, the wheels in Sophie's head started turning...
Photo #4: Upon careful thought, Sophie realized that Meow Meow cat needed a bottle, too. (You can also see her crumpled pajamas on the floor behind her...she finally let me change her after about 2 hours of playing.)
Photo #5: Once Meow Meow cat had consumed enough of her bottle, Sophie gently pet the cat while saying "Meeeeoooooow" in a scratchy, wailing voice.
Sophie has been fake coughing all summer. Now, she can add fake sneezing to her resume. She blows air out of her mouth and shakes her head up and down. She'll have "sneezing attacks" mixed with a case of the giggles. She is so proud of herself for sneezing. It's awesome! She also "throws" a ball, makes the sounds of a dog ("woof woof"), shuts her eyes on command, turns pages of books when we ask, and identifies "Dadda" in a photograph. We're still waiting for "Momma"..... I think she's saving the best word for last :)
