Sophie: "Mommy, did baby brother show up yet?"

We played "Crazy Beauty Salon" and this was the result...

Mommy's Doctor: "Elizabeth, I have no idea why and how this baby is still inside you."

If Sophie is impatient and even my doctor is perplexed, IMAGINE how I feel!  Luckily, I have a fabulous family to distract me during this final stretch.

Sophie was such a cool-looking cowgirl at the local farm's sheep shearing festival.  

She sat front and center on the tractor ride!

And, in true, Sophie-fashion, she wanted to drive the tractor.  Her poor boyfriend, Quinn, settled for passenger...

Spring Break

My week off was filled with lots of adventures and field trips--to the zoo, the nursery, the Tulip Festival, the Museum of Flight--and packed with play dates, crafts, and yummy treats.  I've been cherishing my sweet moments as a family of 3 before this crazy monster in my belly gives us a run for our money!!  Enjoy this OVERLOAD of photos:

Still smiling after falling in the mud...oh, the joys of being a 36 week pregnant and clumsy mom.

Sophie has been showing us all of the things that baby brother will do. "I sat in this rocker back in the day, daddy." 

She tried desperately to get any last drops of my chai.  

S was very proud of herself for dumping all of the dirt on her head. 

We made special paint to create roads for ants. 

Daddy and Sophie imagined all of the shapes that their half-eaten pretzels resembled.  

S found a poor worm to live in her bug house.  He was shaken, dropped, and prodded...
