Winter arrived in Boise. It was a sudden and significant blast of snow and freezing temperatures, matched with school closures, piles of boots and mittens, and cozy fires and hot chocolate. Just last week, we were playing at the playground in 60-70 degree temperatures! And this morning, when we awoke, it was -1 degrees!
