As quickly as November (and its snow) arrived, it departed.

For Thanksgiving week, our friends from Seattle came to visit. We had days filled with lots of eating and drinking and playing. It was a very fun friends-giving!

The snow has melted, the harvest decor has been packed away, and now it's Christmas-time!

Cameron was a clever rascal when meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus. Sophie was very polite, reserved, and formal when talking to them about her wish list while Cameron asked for more cookies, made funny faces, cracked jokes, and said that he was the real Santa. He then proceeded to 'bop' all of the inflatable decorations, laughing as he knocked them down. On the return train trip home, Cameron told Santa he wanted to stay on the naughty list. He had Santa laughing and wishing us good luck as parents....
