1. AUNTIE PIPPY
Auntie Pippy came for a long weekend visit. We packed the weekend with a BBQ, an inaugural ride on Seattle's Great Wheel, ride on the carousel, outdoor lunch on the water, shopping, lots of Olympics, an afternoon Mariner's game, and a pajama tea party for fairies (
THE highlight). Ries was thrilled to meet his Auntie Pippy, and Sophie was just as enamored by her as ever. Pip is amazingly creative, imaginative, and energetic, so she mesmerizes little Soph.

She loved the big ferris wheel!

 |
| Beautiful girl loved every minute of her pajama tea party with Auntie Pippy. |
 |
| Auntie Pippy gave Sophie a fancy hairdo for the party. |
 |
| They threw glitter, made fairy bread, and sang songs to call out the fairies. |

| (In case you are wondering, YES, the fairies did come out and eat the fairy bread...it was magic.) |
 |
| These fancy fairy parties will always be a special tradition for these two....love it. |
 |
| Sophie got to meet Mariner Moose at the game! |
 |
| Nothing classier than a mom with a beer in one hand, a diaper bag around her shoulder, and a baby in the front pack. |

2. AUNTIE ALI
Auntie Ali had a baby! Sophie and Ries now have their first cousin, Grady Christopher Johnson, who was born on Sunday, July 29th. We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome this perfectly adorable boy to the world. Ries and Grady (only 2 months apart) can now team up in response to sassy, strong Sophie who is already scheming about how to use these cute boys to her advantage. We are so excited for both
Auntie Ali and Uncle Chris who will be the best parents to little Grady.
My kiddos are so lucky to have two amazing and strong Aunties!
