If Sophie and I had done it right, we would have spoiled Doug all day long with adventures outside, grand meals, and surprise gifts!! Instead, today was more low key. But, that doesn't reflect our appreciation of him!! We spent most of the day inside watching the US Open while it rained outside. This father-daughter photo was taken as Doug tried to soothe Sophie and her sore gums (4 new top teeth emerging....).
