Priest Lake, Part 2

The second half of our vacation at Priest included just the Whitfield 4.  We did what we do best: RELAX.

None of us minded the rain or wind.  We made hot chocolate, played board games, read, colored, ate and ate and ate.  Cameron drew some incredible drawings of different monster trucks and police stations, and I was thrilled to be able to come home and frame 12 new amazing drawings that he created at the cabin.  Sophie didn't want to leave: staying in pajamas and reading are qualities of her dream vacation! 

We hiked Hanna Flats one afternoon--

On our last evening, once the rain had cleared, we loaded into the boat for a sunset cruise. It was gorgeous!

Saying goodbye to the lake is never easy...

the 9-hour drive home didn't phase this one!
